My weekend

So Friday afternoon, I walked into the cafe without high expectations for the quality of food there. However, I noticed some shrimp at one of the stands and decided to have a try. To my surprise, the shrimp was actually quality and I enjoyed it a lot. However, after about 2 hours, I noticed that my checks had begun to swell and I could no longer swallow. Clearly something unnatural was happening here. I finally determined that I had an allergic reaction to the shrimp, much like the reaction I had when I was in Taiwan. And so this weekend, I spent mostly in my dorm room, trying to relax, drinking salted lemonade for my throat, watching movies, and overall, sleeping a lot. I thought I'd let you guys know.

About Me

Hey I'm Jon Roger and I can't believe I made one of these. I'm 18 years old and grew up in St. Anthony Minnesota. I currently attend Coe College in Cedar Rapids and I love it. I spend a lot of time playing tennis and I have become a serious college player in the process. I also have played a lot of trumpet and I really enjoy music. I also enjoy running, soccer, singing, and hanging out with friends and meeting new people. I'm kind of shy but once I break a certain barrier with people I'm quite talkative and not shy at all. I just have to feel comfortable with talking to you. At Coe, I also joined a fraternity. Lambda Chi Alpha and I really like it. It's not one of those fraternities where everyone gets trashed all the time and doesn't do anything. We have a wing on the all boys dorm, instead of our own house, and only about half the members currently live there. Although we do enjoy having a good time like all college students, we also get a lot done too. Well that's all for now but hopefully some people actually read this and maybe I'll become a blogger more often.
