Seriously? Why would you throw a shoe at anybody, especially the president. I'll admit he's not my favorite and I thought it was a tiny bit funny at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I was disgusted by it. Seriously, a shoe?
I've heard some intelligent people around me that in their culture, that's a really huge insult. i know in some areas of the world, its incredibly disrespectful to sit with the bottom of your shoe facing anyone, as it implies that that person is as good as the floor or some such idea. i don't know if that makes it better or worse, but i think it makes more sense if you consider that idea.
no i definitely get that its a huge insult in the culture, and thats why i think its so ridiculous to do. i mean i've never liked the guy but i feel he doesnt deserve that kind of blatant disrespect
